PROCEDURES:

LUMPECTOMY- Laser removes questionable lump completely. This enables pathologist to analyze the entire tumor. This prevents errors in diagnosis. Procedure is done without pain by local anesthesia and / or with intravenous sedation. Performed in the privacy of an ambulatory surgical facility.

PARTIAL MASTECTOMY - Same procedure as above with larger portion of tissue removed. Performed in an ambulatory surgical facility.

SIMPLE OR RADICAL MASTECTOMY - Skin incision made by LASER and breast removal also by LASER, is performed in an ambulatory surgical facility. Patient has painfree options of intravenous sedation with local anesthesia rather than general anesthesia. Patient is ambulatory same day, usually with no drains or pain.

AXILLARY NODE DISSECTION - LASER seals lymphatics and small blood vessels, resulting in decreased swelling, less pain, and greatly reduces post operative drainage. Performed in the privacy of an ambulatory surgical facility. Patient is ambulatory same day, with minimal drainage.

AXILLARY SENTINEL NODE - LASER removal of first area (lymph node) of spread. If microscopic pathology results are negative, this prevents the need for full axillary dissection. Performed in the privacy of an ambulatory surgical facility. The patient does not need general anesthesia.

GYNECOMASTIA - LASER removal of abnormally enlarged male breast tissue, with cosmetic repair. Performed in the privacy of an ambulatory surgical facility.

When desired, the doctor incorporates a MASTOPLEXY / COSMETIC REPAIR simultaneously.
